About

The Factory

The Factory is where concepts are engineered, industrialized, and executed at scale.

We take validated designs - developed internally in our Workshop or provided by customers - and progress them through rigorous Design for Assembly (DfA) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) processes. Our focus is on optimizing products for automated, repeatable, high-throughput production.

Our mandate is simple: deliver reliable output that meets performance, quality, and cost targets.

The Factory integrates advanced manufacturing processes within a single, tightly controlled production environment to ensure consistency and scalability.

Our operating model is data-driven and transparent by design. Clear performance metrics, robust process controls, and closed-loop feedback systems enable continuous improvement and uncompromising manufacturing excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Role

You will support the Plant Manager in translating the Chief Manufacturing Officer’s strategy and operational vision into measurable and repeatable factory performance. You will have delegated accountability for daily production execution, quality, and operational discipline across the factory, acting as the primary operational lead when the Plant Manager is absent.

As a key member of the factory leadership team, you will be instrumental in executing equipment selection, process implementation, systems deployment, and material qualification decisions, ensuring alignment with the approved manufacturing strategy.

Through disciplined process control, continuous improvement, and rigorous day-to-day execution, you will ensure stable, predictable factory operations that meet output, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets, while supporting future scale-up and capability expansion.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep practical manufacturing experience. You will be expected to operate confidently at the machine, process, and systems level; enforcing standard work, coaching frontline leaders, improving efficiency, and rapidly resolving operational constraints and bottlenecks.

You will directly support the leadership and development of production teams, reinforce a culture of accountability, precision, safety, and continuous improvement, while ensure the factory consistently delivers against its targets.

  • Responsibilities
    • Support execution of the manufacturing strategy set by the Chief Manufacturing Officer and Plant Manager.
    • Own day-to-day production execution, ensuring output, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets are met.
    • Support delivery of throughput, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and on-time delivery targets.
    • Enforce process discipline, standard work, and factory control systems on the shop floor.
    • Identify production bottlenecks and lead immediate corrective actions.
    • Support industrialization, New Product Introduction handover, and production ramp-up activities.
    • Monitor and control equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and manufacturing cost performance.
    • Act as the primary escalation and decision authority during shifts and off-hours when required.
    • Coach supervisors and team leads, strengthening operational leadership capability.
    • Reinforce a culture of accountability, precision, safety, and continuous improvement.

Who you are

  • Hands-on operational leadership in disciplined, data-driven factory settings

Skills

  • Manufacturing execution and daily production control
  • Process discipline and standard work enforcement
  • Data-driven performance tracking and reporting
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Production ramp-up and industrialization support
  • Equipment uptime, labor efficiency, and cost control
  • Team leadership, coaching, and shift-level decision making
