About

The Factory

The Factory is where concepts are engineered, industrialized, and executed at scale.

We take validated designs - developed internally in our Workshop or provided by customers - and progress them through rigorous Design for Assembly (DfA) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) processes. Our focus is on optimizing products for automated, repeatable, high-throughput production.

Our mandate is simple: deliver reliable output that meets performance, quality, and cost targets.

The Factory integrates advanced manufacturing processes within a single, tightly controlled production environment to ensure consistency and scalability.

Our operating model is data-driven and transparent by design. Clear performance metrics, robust process controls, and closed-loop feedback systems enable continuous improvement and uncompromising manufacturing excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and compliant operation of all facilities, utilities, and electrical power systems across the manufacturing property. You will translate operational requirements into robust facility infrastructure, preventive maintenance programs, and rapid response capabilities that support uninterrupted factory operations.

As a critical member of the factory leadership team, you will be instrumental in the design, operation, and continuous improvement of electrical power distribution, mechanical systems, building services, and site infrastructure. You will ensure facilities and utilities are capable of supporting current production demands as well as future scale, automation, and equipment expansion.

Through disciplined maintenance planning, rigorous execution, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards, you will ensure maximum uptime, asset longevity, and operational resilience across the site.

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role, requiring deep practical experience in industrial facilities and electrical power systems. You will be expected to operate confidently at the equipment, systems, and site level; diagnosing faults, coordinating repairs, managing contractors, and enforcing maintenance standards.

You will lead and coordinate maintenance activities, contractors, and service providers, instilling a culture of safety, reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement, while ensuring all facility systems consistently support factory performance targets.

  • Responsibilities
    • Own the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all facility infrastructure and utilities.
    • Ensure safe, compliant, and reliable electrical power distribution across the site.
    • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facilities and utilities.
    • Maintain high uptime and availability of power, HVAC, compressed air, water, and other critical systems.
    • Act as primary technical authority for electrical systems, power quality, and load management.
    • Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of production equipment from a facilities and power perspective.
    • Identify infrastructure constraints and drive corrective and preventive actions.
    • Manage external contractors, service providers, and inspections.
    • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
    • Maintain facility documentation, drawings, permits, and maintenance records.
    • Support factory expansion, layout changes, and future capacity planning.
    • Enforce site safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
    • Respond to facility and power-related incidents, outages, and emergencies.
