About

The Factory

The Factory is where concepts are engineered, industrialized, and executed at scale.

We take validated designs - developed internally in our Workshop or provided by customers - and progress them through rigorous Design for Assembly (DfA) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) processes. Our focus is on optimizing products for automated, repeatable, high-throughput production.

Our mandate is simple: deliver reliable output that meets performance, quality, and cost targets.

The Factory integrates advanced manufacturing processes within a single, tightly controlled production environment to ensure consistency and scalability.

Our operating model is data-driven and transparent by design. Clear performance metrics, robust process controls, and closed-loop feedback systems enable continuous improvement and uncompromising manufacturing excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Role

You will be responsible for translating the Chief Manufacturing Officer’s strategy and operational vision into measurable and repeatable factory performance. You will have direct accountability for production output, quality and operational discipline across the factories. As a critical member of the factories leadership team, you will be instrumental in supporting the evaluation and selection of equipment, processes, systems and materials.

Through disciplined process control, continuous improvement and rigorous execution, you will ensure the factory operates at the highest level of excellence, supporting both current production needs and future scale and capability requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring deep practical experience in manufacturing. You will be expected to operate confidently at the machine, process and systems level; enforcing standard of work, improving driving efficiency and rapidly resolving constraints and bottlenecks.

You will lead and develop production teams, instilling a culture of accountability, precision, safety and continuous improvement, while ensuring the factory continuously delivers towards its targets.

  • Responsibilities
    • Execute the manufacturing strategy set by the Chief Manufacturing Officer.
    • Own daily production output, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
    • Deliver targets for throughput, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
    • Enforce process discipline, standard work, and factory controls.
    • Identify bottlenecks and drive rapid corrective action.
    • Lead industrialization, New Product Introduction handover, and production ramp-up.
    • Control assets, uptime, labor efficiency, and manufacturing cost.
    • Build a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
