About

The Factory

The Factory is where concepts are engineered, industrialized, and executed at scale.

We take validated designs - developed internally in our Workshop or provided by customers - and progress them through rigorous Design for Assembly (DfA) and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) processes. Our focus is on optimizing products for automated, repeatable, high-throughput production.

Our mandate is simple: deliver reliable output that meets performance, quality, and cost targets.

The Factory integrates advanced manufacturing processes within a single, tightly controlled production environment to ensure consistency and scalability.

Our operating model is data-driven and transparent by design. Clear performance metrics, robust process controls, and closed-loop feedback systems enable continuous improvement and uncompromising manufacturing excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Role

You will be responsible for leading and executing all quality control and quality assurance activities across the manufacturing facility, with direct ownership of raw material inspection, in-process quality control, and finished product acceptance. You will ensure that all products meet defined specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

As a critical member of the factory engineering and operations team, you will be instrumental in defining quality standards, inspection methods, control plans, and corrective action systems that support stable, repeatable, and high-quality manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production, manufacturing engineering, mechanical, electrical, and supply chain teams to embed quality at every stage of the process.

Through disciplined inspection, data-driven analysis, and rigorous corrective action, you will prevent defects, reduce rework and scrap, and continuously improve product quality from incoming materials through final shipment.

This is a hands-on quality engineering role requiring strong practical experience in manufacturing quality environments. You will be expected to operate confidently at incoming inspection, on the shop floor, and at final acceptance; validating product conformance, resolving quality issues, and supporting production teams in real time.

You will lead quality control execution across the factory, reinforcing a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Responsibilities
    • Own quality control and inspection activities for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
    • Define and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and acceptance criteria.
    • Act as technical authority for product quality requirements and specifications.
    • Lead incoming material inspection and supplier quality feedback.
    • Support in-process quality control and defect prevention activities.
    • Own final product inspection, testing, and release for shipment.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality defects and nonconformities.
    • Support New Product Introduction quality planning and production ramp-up.
    • Track and report quality KPIs including defect rates, scrap, rework, and yield.
    • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
    • Support audits, customer inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
    • Work closely with suppliers to resolve material quality issues.
    • Ensure quality processes align with factory standards and regulatory requirements.
